DA HAT's Nashville Tour:
Johnnyuma's porkpie hat arrived in Nash Vegas via Pixelpig a few days ago. I decided to take it out and funk it up. George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic were in town, and I could not think of a better place to show it off in Music City. Da Hat helped me charm my way right up to the front row, where I hopped up on a chair:
Da Hat was REALLY wanting to get onstage. Rachel and I kept trying to sneak up there, and she was lucky enough to crawl up while I distracted the bouncer. Once onstage, I threw Da Hat to her like a frisbee, and she wore it out, until a guitarist escorted her backstage. But no, not to 86 her, but to *party with her*. Seriously. That porkpie has magical powers.
Not to be outdone, I got backstage and had my photo taken with another groovy bandmember, Sir Nose. As you can see, Da Hat was so excited, it was nearly hopping off my head.

The guitar player Rachel met called us later to ask if we wanted to hang out with them, but we went home instead. It cracks us up to say that that WE stood up PARLIAMENT. Hey, Da Hat was tired and was ready to be tucked into it's little hat-box.
It was the most kickass night in a long time. Now I'm just waiting on Yuma's word on where the magical lid goes next.

UPDATE: The dude from Parliament called Rachel again tonight and offered to fly us out to their next gig, in CA. I shit you not.
We totally need to get our own porkpies. Da Hat may have changed our lives!! :)
